Beauty For Christmas

It is probably far too late to put up a post about what beauty products I got for Christmas. But when I was looking through my iPhone and realised I had these photos, I thought it would be nice to share with you what I received and have since tried and enjoyed.

I was extremely spoilt at Christmas with beauty products and have had so much fun dabbling into my new presents ever since. Some of the items were repurchases of products I already loved and others were items I had admired from afar for far too long but never had the chance to see them up close and personal - the Hourglass Palette being a prime example.

I had already tried and fallen in love with the Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara, Ren ClearCalm3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser, Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream, Armani Code for Women Perfume and Clinique Chubby Sticks. These are all fabulous products that I would recommend to any beauty lovers. I had also tried everything else from the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Range apart from the Eau Gourmande Perfume, but now I've been united with it I can say I like it just as much as the rest of the range (tip: it's extremely potent, so a little goes a long way!).

The Oribe haircare set was completely new to me but had been on my Christmas list for a few years now. I fell in love with the idea of their Dry Texturising Spray when burst onto the beauty scene via Youtube a long while ago now. I'm not a huge fan of using Dry Shampoo if I don't have to, as I don't really enjoy the feeling of it in my hair, so the Dry Texturising Spray seemed to be perfect for me. It claims to work in a similar way to dry shampoo but gives the hair lift, volume and obviously texture, without the weighty feel. I've used it a couple of times now and I do like it, but I can definitely feel it in my hair. It doesn't feel dirty per say, just gritty - excellent for style but not so much for touch. Smells great though!

The Travalo has been a life saver. So incredibly easy to use and perfect for a girl like me who has one too many perfumes and likes to switch them up. It's the perfect size for a handbag and comes in a variety of colours. Mum bought me the pink one which I love. She liked it so much that she bought herself the gold one and my brother the blue one, so now we all match. Huge thumbs up to this little gadget!

I won't talk too much about the Clarins set as there are reviews coming up shortly, but the Natural Lip Perfecters are definitely worth the hype. Enough said.

As for the Hourglass palette and the No7 Glossy Sticks, I haven't got around to trying these yet but you will be the first to know how I get on. If anyone has tried them please do let me know! I'd love to hear your experiences, tips, tricks and thoughts :)
