Please excuse the ever so slightly dodgy picture. I realised I hadn't photographed the packaging just as I was jumping in the shower, so had to snap one quickly with my iPhone.
I've been testing out a fair few of these treatment shots recently. It all started when I was recommend the TRESemmé Platinum Strength Treatment Shot by a hairdressing friend. Since then I have gone on to try the Keratin Smooth equivalent and now this Dove Intensive Repair Shot too.
Honestly, they are all very similar and all do a pretty good job. This Dove one was great at making my hair feel super soft and leaving lasting results for days on end. My hair genuinely felt in better condition so it really did do what it said on the packet.
Out of all of the shots I've tried so far, I would definitely lean towards the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth one as being the best. That would be followed closely by the other two, with this is one maybe edging the Platinum Strength shot slightly. But in general both of them are verging on the same thing. One of the initial reasons I was so interested in trying them both out is because they are packaged exactly the same and marketed quite similarly so I was interested to see whether there was any real difference between the two products. As I say, I would recommend them both but this one perhaps pips the other to the post because of it's long lasting results which you can feel just by touching your hair.
Have you tried any of these treatment shots? Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below.
