The Body Shop Coconut Body Milk

My wonderful bestie treated me to some more Body Shop products for Christmas. After I was introduced to the heavenly Cranberry Joy line by her, I had high hopes for the Coconut Body Set I was gifted. Personally I'm not a fan of the taste of Coconut, so picking out the scent perhaps wouldn't be my first choice. Having said that I was open-minded and excited to give something a try that I wouldn't have usually picked up for myself.

My first instinct with this product was that it was going to resemble a really runny body lotion, and I guess to some extent that is exactly what this is. However I would definitely say that upon application it felt a more like an indulgent oil. Please don't panic at the word oil like I know I would if I was reading this. It's not greasy or sticky so you can push those stereotypes aside. It's simply quite pampering and surprising. I felt like I was using such an expensive and luxurious product when in real terms this is actually probably quite affordable! This is what we like - luxury feeling at high-street prices!

Needless to say, I came out the other end of my Body Milk experience smelling like a Bounty bar and feeling soft like a baby's bottom. Neither of these things I turn my nose up at. I always find it exciting when I discover a product I love which won't make me wince every time purchase it. I'd be happy to recommend this to anyone who's looking for a simple body moisturiser that doesn't take half an hour to sink in and makes your purse and skin smile.

  2. How long did you find this took to sink in? Ny favourite thing is pure coconut oil, but I could do with a faster version in the winter as I get so cold waiting for it to stop being so sticky! This sounds great as the smell of coconut is one of my favourites!

    1. It doesn't take too long hun. Definitely give it a go as I reckon it'll be quicker than the absorption of a full-on oil xxo
