I don't know if it's because I haven't worn nail polish in a while, but there's something which is really drawing me to this colour. I don't have many polishes that are glitter duo-chrome as it's not really to my taste, but this one really catches my eye. It almost looks like a night sky with stars to me - as weird as that sounds. The fine glitter and strong purple shade are made really intriguing by the undertone of gold and green. Every time the light hits it I can't help but look at it because it's so pretty. In fact, this would have been a lovely polish to wear over Christmas and New Years. It's a shame that I'm only discovering it now! Having said that, I still think that this would look lovely for date night or an evening on the town with your best girl friends.
This is the first time I've tried W7 Nail Polish but I really like it. If you like Barry M, I see no reason why you wouldn't like this brand too. The first coat was rather thin and streaky but after the second coat a much more intense colour appeared. Realistically I would do 3 coats of this polish to create that opaque, thick and glossy finish that I love. Having said that, you can certainly get away with two, which is what I'm wearing above.
The brush is reasonably standard. I'm just happy that it seems to be good quality as some cheaper nail polishes can come with brushes that have bristles sticking out everywhere, which creates such an untidy finish. I found this product easy to use so that's a bonus for me. It's cheap and cheerful. Simple.
