Blogger Of The Month - Maddy from Unstitchedd

When I looked back over my blog at the end of last year, I felt like I hadn't raved enough about the blogs that inspire me and that I enjoy reading. There are so many wonderful sites out there where just looking at them makes me want to work harder and achieve more. It varies from ones where I could simply mooch about all day reading the odd rambling, or ones where I feel like my beauty routine and life will be changed forever because of what they said (I'm looking at you here Caroline Hirons). This is why I made it my 2014 goal to rave about one blogger each month who I absolutely adore. I really hope that you will enjoy this new series as much as I'm excited about doing it. I love to discover new gems on the blogosphere so please do leave all your links to your blogs below so that I can have a mooch for February.

To kickstart the new year I have picked the gorgeous Maddy with her simply beautiful blog called Unstitched for January. Honestly, I don't think I even need to give you any reasons why I love her blog so much. Just looking at it will tell you everything you need to know. I could simply stare at it for hours. For me it's like one of those beautiful magazine that you want to put on your coffee table so you can look at it all the time. Her photos are perfectly laid out and always her own. Personally I'm not a fan of bloggers who use photos from other sites as I feel like even taking a rubbish one yourself makes yours so much more unique and original. However Maddy clearly takes the time and effort to compose her images with thought and colour. I would literally like to make a scrap book of inspiration from just her blog as it's everything I would like my blog to grow to and become. It's obvious that she has a brilliant camera which definitely does make a difference. I really want to save for one of my own as I feel like my little pink Fujifilm Finepix Z30 doesn't really cut the mustard sometimes.

The number of times she posts a month vary but you can tell that a lot of hard work and thought was put into each one. It's much better to have a post that's been perfected rather than rushing to put something up each day just for the sake of it. Sometimes I find it tricky to post every day and have contemplated cutting it back, but I enjoy the constant day to day interaction with all of you too much. When I was jobless after uni it was pretty easy to organise my time but now I've got a job, time to blog comes few and far between. Maybe later in the year I will take a leaf out of Maddy's book and cut it back slightly but until then I'm going to enjoy getting new content out to you each day whilst I feel that I still can.

Over all I think that Maddy has done an incredible job of her blog. She been running Unstitched for just over a year now and it is clearly going from strength to strength. I can't wait to see more from her and enjoy the beautiful pictures as they come. I really hope you stop by her blog and support her as I think you'll absolutely adore it. Give her a comment and tell her I sent you :) That would be awesome!
