Beauticology Strawberry Swirl Body Butter

Today's review is on another beauty product which I received for Christmas last year. As I have already reviewed the Peppermint version and didn't like it very much, I wasn't holding high hopes for this product at all. In fact I nearly didn't test it as I couldn't see why a different scent would make the product better. But it's a very lucky thing that I did. This body butter is far superior than the previous peppermint version. Not only does this one actually smell lovely, but it moisturises the skin a lot better and leaves my legs feeling super smooth and silky soft.

I'm still a bit on the fence with calling it a butter though. This is most definitely more of a gel texture than anything else, but that doesn't bother me. It sinks into the skin nicely and the scent isn't too strong or overpowering. I must add that although the smell of this product is much better than the last, I would definitely note that it still doesn't have a natural scent. You can definitely tell that it's more of a manufactured perfume than an organic one. Having said that, I don't mind so much with this product as it does smell quite lovely over all.

I'm really happy I didn't chicken out of trying this as I really like it. I actually look forward to using it and for me that's definitely a sign that I like something.

P.s If you can find anywhere that actually sells this now, please let me now! I can't find it anywhere so apologies for the lack of buying links.

  1. Yes that does indeed look like a gel/cream texture rather than the thicker cream I would associate with a body butter. Nevertheless it sounds very nice :)
