I bought this mascara when I was holiday in America in August, even I knew I could get it back here in the UK. I simply figured that I had some dollars left so why not get this. It's been a while since I've tried a Revlon mascara as L'oreal is generally my high street preference for eye products. Having said that, the packaging was so eye catching that I simply had to have it.
Little did I know I picked up waterproof until I got back to the UK. Usually I avoid waterproof like the plague because it's so hard to get off, but it so happens that the waterproof formula of this mascara is meant to be the better one, so I guess everything worked out in the end.
The wand on this mascara is pretty large. However it's the right size to make sure you avoid hitting your eyelid or nose which is a huge bonus! It's made out of fibres rather than being plastic which is a new one for me. The majority of my wands are plastic so it felt odd to apply mascara this way, but it still proved to be quite simple.
I found that this product gave me a lot of length and definitely added volume but not in a thick way. It was better at making me look like I had more lashes than I did before rather than making the ones I have look thicker.
It doesn't smudge or flake all day but I'm not surprised by that factor. Why? Because it's a nightmare to try and get off in the evening. At the moment I'm finishing off my L'Oreal Micellar Water and that stuff barely touches this mascara. There has definitely been some eyelashes lost during the removal of this product which is why I dislike waterproof so much. However this product would be great if you were going clubbing or wearing this in the summer as it's so long lasting and smudge-proof.
Overall it's not my favourite mascara but its not my least favourite either. I would say it's a middle of the road jam for me. I'm still loyal to my Volume Million Lashes and Smokey Lash so far as high end and high street go.
