I'm not really one for glitter nail polishes as I find them a pain to remove, but as soon as I saw this one I knew that I had to have it. The beauty of this product was so worth the pain of taking it off. It looks absolutely beautiful and can be worn in so many different ways, which is why I feel like I'll get such great usage out of it.
Although it is very seasonally appropriate with all the glitz and glam of Christmas and New Year, it is not solely bound to these times where you can't where it at any other occasion. The multi-colour sequins and glitter make it extremely versatile and therefore it could work at various times with various outfits.
For me, sequin explosion contains all the best coloured sequins. I don't know what it is about it but the overall look of the colours combined but they really appeal to me. It's got a lovely soft finish which looks really attractive to the eye. I think it might be because all the colours subtly blend together. There are no strong ruby reds or garish oranges. The colours just blend nicely and honestly look like a party of the nail to me.
You can wear this polish so many ways - as an ombre effect, as a glittery top coat or simply as a statement nail like i've decided to sport this time. I think it gives your manicure a little something extra. Plus, paired with the nude pink polish, I think that it draws out the glittery nail even more and makes it something extra special.
I would really recommend this polish if you're looking for something new and unique this holiday season. It's truly beautiful - possibly my favourite glitter polish now - and so easy to use. Just dab the glitter polish on and after a couple of coats you're good to go. I set mine with Sally Hansen's Mega Shine Top Coat to give it a smoother finish and I'm really happy with the results.
