Essie Apricot Treatment Cuticle Oil

As you may know from my pre-filmed Superdrug haul last friday, I treated myself to a new cuticle product in the form of Essie's Apricot Treatment Cuticle Oil. I have abysmal cuticles at the best of times, simply because I just don't know what to do with them. If I push them back and they became more obvious, I try to trim them with a cuticle trimmer and literally can't get to grips with how the contraption works. I was just at my wits end and wanted to final myself that miracle, holy grail product that would just do all the work for me. Now, I might be a little naive in saying this but I think I've found it.

I saw this product on a few blogs recently, so when the opportunity came up to buy it on my shopping splurge a couple of weeks ago, I jumped at the chance. I've since been testing it out religiously and have actually been really impressed with the results.

I simply pop this on twice a day and massage it into my cuticles until the oil has pretty much sunk in. Simple as that. I try to rub the oil in the i'm-pushing-back-my-cuticles-at-the-same-time kind of motion to give myself that extra hope that this was going to solve my cuticle issues for good.

To be fair I can't believe how mice my cuticles do look now. I'm sure if a manicurist could take a look at my phalanges she would probably gasp in horror, but to me they look quite nice. They are neat and tidy and over all a lot more manageable. I think it's because applying the oil really softens the skin and therefore makes them really hydrated and a lot less noticeable. There is nothing worse for a mani than a dry, overgrown cuticle. I can tell you that right now :)

The oil smells really pleasant and sinks into the skin nicely, so long as you don't overload yourself. It seems to me to be an effortless, quick fix product which I really appreciate.

So yeah, over all I enjoy this product and would definitely recommend it for the girls like me who simply don't know what to do with their nails anymore. It's is saving mine and I absolutely love it.
