Herbal Essences Bee Strong and Nivea In-Shower Skin Conditioner

I'm really not a huge fan of sachets but they are always included my monthly magazines. Realistically they are an amazing way of getting to try out new launches before going and splurging on the full sized item. I think I'm more apposed to makeup sachets, but any other sachet works better for me.

Anyways, these might not be two of the most exciting looking products, but  I wanted to give them a go regardless. After all, I'm actually a big fan of Herbal Essences. I find that the brand does the job whilst being cheap and easy to get hold of. I don't react to it and my hair always feels clean after using it. I have used the high end shampoos and conditioners of the haircare world before, but like to switch up my products because I feel that my locks can get too used to one product if I don't.

I feel that Herbal doesn't get a lot of coverage online because so many bloggers are focused on the more unknown, perhaps slightly higher end products. Therefore I feel it my duty to give Herbal Esscences it's moment as I stand by the brand completely.

I usually use the green bottle which is for dazzling shine, as you all know that its what I look for the most in my haircare products. However, this new release is for strong and healthy hair which obviously still appeals to me too.

There's a simple story behind me knowing that this product works. Basically, I tested it out and it was alright. The shampoo was a lot runnier than usual and there was no particular scent to it. I didn't smell it and think about how amazing it was but it wasn't bad either. I then used the luscious, thick and creamy conditioner which actually did look like honey and that was nice too. Once I had got out of the shower and was blow-drying my hair I thought to myself 'my hair feels so strong', completely forgetting that it was the whole concept of the product line and carried on doing my thing. It just goes to show that I had noticed a difference in my hair because I absentmindedly noticed it without deliberately looking for real results. I think that definitely proves that this works and while I'm not blown away by the product, it does the job.

I'd probably invest in the mask version for a bit of umph when my hair is feeling a little weak and I am getting a lot of breakages. Otherwise I will just be sticking to the trusty shine formulation for now.

The other sample that I wanted to test out was Nivea's In-Shower Skin Conditioner. I've been hearing a lot about this product in the beauty world but always took every comment with a pinch of salt. A shower cream that you wash off and it still moisturises your skin? Come on... really? Well actually, yes really. This stuff is quite simply amazing!

The concept is simple. You wash your skin with your usual shower gel/lotion/cream/whatever, and then pop this on afterwards and rinse before you get out of the shower. It is meant to moisturise your skin there and then so that you don't have to apply anything afterwards and it completely works!

I personally love applying my body butters and lotions if I have the time. But for those days when you just want to get out of the shower, get dressed and go, this is incredible. It literally feels like you have applied a body butter and your skin feels soft and supple. I was absolutely stunned. I couldn't believe how well this product worked. The moisture only lasts for a  couple of days but lets face it, you're going to be heading back in the shower anyways so you can just pop some more of this on then.

I really feel that this is a busy girl/boy's life saver. If you do anything next time you head to your local supermarket, do yourself a favour and pick this product up. You won't regret it.
