Paul and Joe Hair and Body Perfume

The first time I spotted this was in my Company Magazine this month. As you all know, I am a perfume addict, so the thought of having perfume for my hair thrilled me a little. I know this may sound a little crazy, but who doesn't like to smell nice? And who doesn't want their hair to smell nice too, right? The last thing I want is for my boyfriend to lean in for a hug and get a face full of hair that smells like the pasta bake i've just been cooking. That's not going to be the most romantic moment ever!

So welcome to the perfume that can be used on hair and body. I've never tried any Paul & Joe products before but this seemed like the perfect time to start. The bottle is really simple which makes it really beautiful in my eyes. I love that it looks classic and feminine. The hair and body mist* has a really delicate, floral fragrance. I'm not the best at describing perfumes, which is pretty ironic if you ask me, but this is definitely a light one which isn't too overpowering. I know it is mean't to have citrus notes in it but I really can't smell them myself. However the herbal notes do come through. To help, I have listed all the scents below:

Top Notes: Peach, Apple Melon, Orange, Lemon, Lavender, Rosemary
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Rose, Neroli
Base Notes: Amber, Mush

You could easily mist some of this in your hair, and wear it with your usual daytime perfume without them both fighting for attention. I don't personally tend to notice the scent in my hair. However when I ask other people if my hair smells nice, they always say yes so it must be doing something right.

One of my main concerns was that the liquid would dry out my locks or even make my hair look a little greasy if I sprayed to much. Having said that, I am happy to reveal that it does neither. It's simply a nice treat to use. Because I've never tried something like this before, it has that unique gimmick factor which makes me intrigued by it. For that reason, I reckon that it would make a really nice present. Over all, I definitely haven't been disappointed and feel that it's a cute little extra for these upcoming summer afternoons.

Have you ever tried a hair perfume? How do you get your hair smelling fresh on the second day? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. I didn't even know hair perfume existed! I definitely want to give this a go now, especially since it doesn't make your hair look greasy. It sounds fab!
