W7 Showstopper Mascara

Today I wanted to share a mascara with you, which I received in a goody bag. After attending Aqua Pr's A/W launch last month, I was given a couple of products to test out, one of which I featured in yesterday's post. However today I wanted to share with you one of their new mascaras in ShowStopper (£4.95)*. It is described as the ultimate mascara for show-stopping eyes.

I actually like the packaging because it's bright and I don't have any other mascara's which stand out in my makeup bag like this one does. It's shaped a lot like the Max Factor or Covergirl products which is another feature I like. It's quite chunky which means the handle is easy to grip and get my control over.

I've never seen a wand like this and I just can't figure out why. The way that it tapers towards the end makes it absolutely perfect for reaching the shorter lashes in the inner corners. All I need to do is give the wand a little wiggle and I get perfect coverage on every lash.

This is another mascara which I feel looks quite natural on the lashes. I thought it was very similar to the Seventeen Doll'd up Mascara which is why I tried to layer them. Unfortunately this didn't work so well and I ended up with clumps. However if I had to choose between the two, I think that Showstopper would be my favourite and I'm more than happy to wear this on it's own.

It does give a little bit of volume but I wouldn't go as far to say it lives up to it's name. On the other hand, it doesn't smudge or flake which is great! It's quite a nice, casual looking product but I tend to enjoy lashes with a bit more body to them. Therefore I don't think I would personally repurchase this product but I can see why many people would. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to look very natural with a little something extra.

Have you tried this mascara? What do you think about it? And which mascara has you're favourite wand? I'm loving this one and wish that I could move it to other mascaras I like!
