Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade

When I said in my Revlon Red Velvet post that I was probably going to get more of these butters I wasn't wrong. It was a couple of days before I picked up Pink Lemonade. This formulation of lip product is just so addictive.

I have already reviewed this kind of product two or three times before so I won't go boring you too much with my general consensus. We all know they are fabulous! If you want to, you can read my reviews on Red Velvet, Candy Apple, Sweet Tart or Creme Brulee.

What I do really appreciate and I will emphasise again, is the fact that these butters come in a lipstick container. There is nothing I hate more than getting sticky lip butter/balm all over my fingers. Not only is it unhygienic, but it is messy too!

The thing I worry about most with these is the butter melting when the weather warms up... eventually. I get scared that if I want to carry them around and top up during the day, the butter will melt in my handbag!

I don't think this photo does this colour justice. My lips look a little bit dry which is weird because I moisturised them straight after my lip scrub this morning. Either way, it is a truly lovely colour. It looks quite vibrant in certain lights, but can also give a soft baby pink glow to your lips too -  a really fantastic shade.

What I am realising on the other hand is that I prefer darker colours and reds on my lips compared to the nude baby pinks. I think that Red Velvet is a lot more flattering on me - probably because I am so fair skinned. However, once I start to tan a bit in the summer, the lighter shades might start to work more in my favour.

What is your favourite Revlon Lip Butter colour? Let me know in the comments below.
