Health App - iDrated!

I first came across this app when I was watching Beautycrush's YouTube channel. She mentioned that she had started to use an app which helps to measure how much she drinks every day. I thought that this was a brilliant idea as I am probably the worst person when it comes to remembering to drink. Therefore I went in search for this magical helper and found iDrated.

It's free which I was extremely pleased about, as I didn't know how well I would get on with it and didn't want to end up forking out money for nothing.

The set up wizzard takes all of a few seconds and then you are ready to go. All you need to do is swipe down on the screen to add how much you've had to drink. You are then given a percentage of how hydrated you are which is represented by the water level rising in the lady to the side.

The app also gives you alerts to remind you to drink more which I think is quite a good idea. However you can turn this off if you don't want this addition.

Finally the graph shows how much you've had to drink over the last 7 days. The more you drink, the more likely you are to get a bronze, silver or gold medal which is represented below. As you can tell, I'm still pretty rubbish at drinking the 2litres you are recommended to drink daily. I tend to get about 50% hydrated by the time i'm heading to sleep which is actually more than I thought, so that's something I guess. Atleast this app makes me aware of how much more I should be consuming so that I can do something about it. After all, as a huge beauty fanatic I know that I should be drinking plenty to flush all the toxins out of my body and keeping my skin clear. But frankly who really drinks enough?

Do you have any cool and helpful apps that you use on a daily basis? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. This is a great idea, I never drink water so I'll download this and hopefully it can motivate me to drink more water.

    1. Let me know if it helps hun :) It sort of makes it fun and that's how it works for me :) xxo

  2. I definitely need this in my life, it's a great idea! I tend to fool myself into thinking that I've drank loads, when in actual fact I'm probably no where near the 2 litre mark ahah.

    Maxine xx

    1. I know what you mean. I've found that I drink more than I thought though. I thought I only drank one or two glasses a day but the app shows me that I drink more than that.. Still not enough, but more! xxo

  3. Water is so important. So glad there's an app for hydration now :).
