Book Worm #12 - Someone To Love by Addison Moore

If you're thinking this looks like a funny version of Matched by Allie Condie then you'd be right! I got a third of the way through that book and then my boyfriend tempted me with a link to free books on Amazon. Naturally I took the opportunity and had a look. There were 100 free books and 100 extremely cheap books, of which this was one. I ended up downloading 5, but the blurb of this book intrigued me the most. I thought that the cover was a bit odd compared to the description of the book. This one reminds me of Mills and Boon or something. However I am not one to judge a book by it's cover... too much. Haha. So I thought why not, let's give this a go.

Kendall is a sweet young girl, heading off to Garrison for some typical college fun. With her mums line of divorces lingering in her mind, she has always been one to warn off love at the first sight of it. Her V plates are still hanging in pride of place on her mantel piece - but not for too long. At the first party of her College life, she bumps into an unimaginably gorgeous boy called Cruise - aka player 101. They get acquainted when Kendall's homeless status (thanks to a useless stoner 'friend') becomes a huge problem. Cruise takes her under his wing and it's not long before Kendal is agreeing to things she doesn't quite want. She wants Cruise to teach her his player ways. She wants to be the master of seducing any man at Garrison. She wants to have sex. Unfortunately for Cruise, he soon realises that he doesn't want to share her. Unfortunately for Kendall, she realises this too. Neither of them know what the other is thinking.

I fell in love with this book after the first couple of chapters. This reminds me of American Pie but it's 10 times more funny and witty. The language is intellectual and the innuendos are brilliant. The author really does know how to make you laugh out loud.

You are genuinely gripped to the very end. This is one of those books, like Delirium, that I couldn't put down and I didn't want to either. It's a guaranteed must read and if you have a kindle like me, it's only 77p at the moment. Barginous. Go and snap it up - now!
