Roger & Gallet Bois D'Orange Crème Sublime

When I heard about this product, all I could think about was how great it would have been to use on holiday this summer as a moisturiser in the evening. Thankfully I had my St Tropez Aftersun which smelt great and gave me an extra golden tan. However this product creates a slightly different look but smells just as amazing at the same time.

Crème Sublime Or* (£13.50) is a body cream with little flecks of glitter in which give you a shimmering golden shine on your skin. Enriched with 6 different oils including Argon, Macadamia and Almond, it aims to soften your skin and give you long lasting comfort.

When I thought about this product having glitter in it, all I could imagine was my 8 year old self, smothering body glitter all over my arms and legs before a school disco. It's safe to say it is not a look I wish to relive. Having said that, this product couldn't be further away from my 90's s-club, disco-bobbing self. The shimmer that it gives you is so subtle that it really gives of an elegant air.

I have included a picture of the cream massaged in in the last photo to demonstrate how subtle the shimmer really is, as well as how amazing the cream soaks in. There is no greasy residue left, no sticky unpleasantness, just a great perfume and shimmer so subtle it hasn't really shown up. The longer the cream soaks in, the more shimmer pay off you receive. Don't by any means think that you won't get what you pay for. The shimmer is there but it is in micro pieces that glint when the sun hits your skin in a certain way. It reminded me of Twilight, and the vampires shimmering skin, just perhaps not so overly powering!

The perfume is meant to smell of oranges and I guess it does. But personally, I find that it smells like more of a really expensive perfume I'd like to own! I can not express how good it smells and it's definitely one that lingers strongly on the skin, so if you don't like that type of product then perhaps this one isn't for you.

Overall I really do like it. My only regret is not getting my hands on it earlier when I was fresh off holiday with a golden tan and ready to flaunt it.
