L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil

I think that I can pretty much conclude that when you buy L'Oreal Paris products, you cannot go wrong no matter what it is.

L'Oreal's Elvive Extraordinary Oil aims to give you sumptuous softness and luminous shine. It is made from 6 different flower extracts, all of which aim to nourish the hair back to full health.

I'm sure we all know about the different hair oils on the market. When they first started appearing I wasn't particularly interested in trying them out. I associate the word oil with greasy hair and who wants to walk around looking like that?! However Moroccan Oil (£30.45 per 100ml) burst onto the scene and after trying it once at my hair salon, I fell in love with it. I have never owned a bottle of Moroccan Oil, but I would argue that this product is just as good and a lot cheaper (£9.99 per 100ml). The only other hair oil I have tried is the Nuxe Dry oil for skin and hair. I received that one in one of my beautyboxes and think it's amazing, but on my trip back from university I lost it in all of the packing. This is when I went out and bought this product.

It comes in a glass bottle which I really love. It gives it more of an expensive feel and ultimately makes it feel like you have bought a luxurious product. I know.. I am a sucker for some good packaging.

You can use it three ways:
Before your shower for deep nourishment,
After your shower to help heat protect transform your hair,
As a finishing touch to add softness and shine.

I have tried all of these processes and loved them all. My hair felt so much softer when I was washing it after applying the oil. You could feel the nourishment of the oil working away at every follicle. Then adding it to my damp hair instantly made it cashmere soft and helped my hair to dry much quicker than usual. Finally, I ran two pumps (amount shown in picture above) of the oil through the lengths and ends of my hair and it gave it a glossy, glamorous finish. I had curled my hair and the style looked perfect. They sell a similar version of this oil with a UV filter which is suitable for coloured hair which I thought was a clever idea as they are now catering to everyone.

I would recommend this to everyone. I hope you all love it as much as I do. This is definitely something I would repurchase time and time again.
