Natural Collection Lipstick in Apple Blossom

Eeee... sorry about the not so delightful picture of my lips above. I don't think I am particularly loving this lipstick at all.

I have never tried any lipsticks by Natural Collection before and I find that this shade really washes me out and makes me look a little bit ill frankly. And as you can see it doesn't lay very smoothly on my lips. It looks a little bit dry and the colour is a bit washy. I would like to compare the finish of this lipstick to the Mac Cut a Caper lipstick which I have scheduled to post later this week. The Mac lipstick is a perfect wash of colour whereas this just falls into the creases a little bit.

If you have a look at my I Love Winter lipstick by Mac here, you can see what I mean about the coverage, until my Mac post later this week.

I just don't rate these lipsticks... but at £1.99 it's not like I broke the bank so I am not too worried about it. I will just have to search on for the perfect everyday nude that is an affordable price!

(Note - As I mention above, I am going on holiday today. Posts will still continue on my blog as I have scheduled one ready for each day so don't forget to come and check them out if you're looking for some new beauty material to read :] I have another 4 ways to wear post coming up, along with 2 fun guest posts (one for girls and one for guys). Plus the usual wish list and NOTD and much more! :] )

  1. I've not tried any of these lippies before, I've used the Natural Collection foundation and blusher and really liked them but I'm new to other products! xx

  2. 'Collection 2000 Lipstick in Apple Blossom' it's Nautral Collection. :P They're two different brands. I love the review though! Their red lipsticks/darker shades are gorgeous.

  3. I've tried a couple of lipsticks from the Natural Collection. The lighter lipsticks are always really sheer but the darker ones are amazing, really nice and moisturising.

    1. Looks like I am going to have to invest in a darker one as that seems to be the general consensus xxo

    1. Yuhuh. That is what I think also. Though I might get a darker shade to try as quite a few people have said they are better. xxo
