This is the second Essie nail polish that I own and I am a little bit disappointed but I think it's more my own fault than Essie's. I picked up this colour because I thought it looked like a really nice grey in the bottle but when I painted it it was so dark and a bit lacking. I think perhaps I should have just chosen another shade because I am in love with the quality of the polish.
It doesn't chip for ages. It applies really easily and looks flawless. I really enjoy how shiny it is without a top coat - it feels like a really professional polish and I would love to invest in some more.
The other polish I have is Mademoiselle which my boyfriend bought for me and it's a really gorgeous pale pink. Unlike Mademoiselle, Chinchilly was a much thicker polish and only needed 2 coats which was great.
I was having a look at the Essie stand in Boot's today and saw quite a few I wouldn't mind trying including Mesmerize, Cute as a Button and Vanity Fairest, so you may see some more Essie NOTD's coming you way.
