GlossyBox Product Review : Deborah Lippmann Stripper to go.

I used this mitt that I got with my Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Nail Polish. The idea of a mitt soaked in nail polish remover sounded like a good idea at the time but this, in my eyes, definitely had its flaws. For one, I could only get two fingers in at a push. But I couldn't get them in far enough to stop the mitt from slipping off. I have very boney fingers, so I figured if anyone could use this tiny mitt, it would be me. Next, when trying to rub off the glitter nail polish it started pulling the fibres of the mitt to shreds. It took a lot of effort to start getting the nail polish off, and when it did start to disappear, the mitt started to dry out. I got to my seventh finger and after that the mitt was completely dry. Not really ideal. I had to resort to using my own nail polish. In the mitts defence, even my nail polish found it hard to remove the glitter and ripped my pad to shreds, so arguably that's not a fault of the mitt. However, you would expect to be able to get all the nail polish off with one mitt. The lavender scent was a nice change from the nail polish smell, but it didn't mask the smell completely.
I think that these mitts might work really well with normal nail polish, just not glitter, and maybe they wouldn't dry out because it wouldn't take so long to remove.

  1. I used this as well, it was ok but they cost like £14 for 6 so theyre so not worth it!

  2. Definitely would not spend the money on them.

  3. Thats quite an interesting idea, but I don't think I'd bother with it either :)
