Burt's Bees Lip Balms

I have been wanting to try some Burt's Bees products for quite a while now, and since I am such a lip balm addict, I thought this would be a great place to start. The honest truth is that I don't really know what I think of them. I bought the balms from Boots about a week ago now. The top flavour is 'Nourishing Mango Butter', the second down is 'Replenishing Pomegranate Oil' and the one at the front is 'Rejuvinating Acai Berry'. The pomegranate balm is a reddish colour but the other two are clear. Personally I like the smell of the mango one best, but my boyfriend likes the Acai Berry. They take a while to warm up so that they slip onto your lips like a balm. Once this has happened they do apply better and give a general moisturising feel. They don't have any taste to them like the Strawberry Chapstick I was using before which I find to be a bit disappointing. The hydration doesn't last long so you have to keep only re-applying like with any lip balm. However I feel that this one stops working a little quicker than the likes of Elemis Quenching Lip Balm/Lip Revive or the Strawberry Chapstick. On the other hand, they do last longer than a Korres Lip Butter. Overall I am a little on the fence with this product. I like using them because they're new and smell nice but It hasn't rocketed to be one of my most favourite beauty products of all time.

  1. I'm currently using the replenishing lip balm with pomegranate oil. I've seen many people who have loved these products, but i'm also on the fence about them. Making do at the moment, until i get my hands on something better!

  2. Yeah same, hence why I went ahead and purchased 3. They're alright anyways. Think I prefer my Elemis at the moment though xxo

  3. I have one of these(set from christmas!) and it's great, i find that the tinted ones don't smell as nice as the normal lip balms they do :/
